My experiment begins...

Last post I discussed my new hosiery experiment so today I thought I would follow thru:

I'll tell you tomorrow how it goes, I bought four different types (they were on sale for a whopping $1.00) I think I'm going to start with the just regular nude color.

So I thought I could also update a very old post about some chairs I was given and was going to recover...here's the end result...

I know people say I'm bold with white furniture but I love them: What do you think?

Lastly, it's sadly Sunday...the last day of the weekend; which was great by the way. My parents came Friday night and we watched UT win to go to the Elite Eight for the first time EVER in school history. Saturday we took a great long walk with the puppies and had ham sandwiches for lunch. Mom spruced up my front porch with beautiful flowers and a can of spray paint to work on my iron table...she's awesome. It was a good weekend wrapped up with a day in the sun....Hope your Monday is an excellent start to your week!

OH my gosh

So tonight my husband left for a conference in Atlanta...so I turned on the television. And to my dismay I landed on Bravo. Do you know what is on Bravo on Thursday nights? Well I'll tell you it's:

I probably shouldn't be admiting this butI get so sucked in! It's great and mindless and that's my favorite part I can just kick back and let it all go from the day at work.

In other business I got to work with a sweet girl, Anna, who I graduated with in May. Well we got to talking and support hose came up. Yes I acually typed those words..support hose. So if you stand 8 hours a day why not right? So I think I'm going to start...Monday. That means I'm going to buy them this weekend. We'll see how that works out...I might chuck them out the window the first day.

Well I certainly hope you have a good day and weekend!

"Why Is There A Dead Pakistani On My Couch?"

Brandon and I have been watching Lost Seasons 1,2,3,4, and now we are on Season FIVE!!! This is the most confusing, suspenseful, exciting, fun show to watch. Currently we are on episode four and I'm loving it; the time is moving back and forth, the rain comes and goes, Ben's there one minute and gone the next always with an agenda...craziness. So while we watch Lost I thought I'd update you on what's up. February 13th I left for Hawaii to spend two weeks with my awesome grandmother on the Golden Princess. Here are a few of the highlights:
Mamaw and I getting on the helicopter tour over Hilo

Mamaw and I sight-seeing in HonoluluUs with the Executive Chef at the Chef's Table

It was a fantastic trip, seeing lava flowing, whales, waterfalls, shopping, beautiful scenery, eating awesome food, spending great time with my grandmother, and reading. I, of course, missed Brandon greatly and I can not wait to take him back and show him the ropes!

After I got back two weeks later, Brandon's spring break started and he headed to snowboard for a week in Colorado. He had a ton of fun with Reid, Alan and visiting Keith and Nancy. They snowboarded Vail and Breck this year instead of the usual Copper Mountain. I'll chalk up the no pictures to no camera and it being a boys' trip...

So those were our big adventures during February but there is one thing I failed to mention...Brandon's 4-Runner seems to have taken a sharp turn for the worse. We are still in the debate of buy something else or fix what we've got....interesting debate to say the least. I'd love some opinions on the matter, if you'd like to vote.

I'm going to find out how John Locke dies and why they really need to get back to the island, episode 7!

Have a great Monday
