Ten Days and Counting...

Today is September 12, 2010!!! That officially means that in 8 days my job at Roebuck is done, in 9 days my job in Centerpoint is done, in 10 days I get my 3 hours of live CE credit, in 11 days I take my MPJE for TX and more importantly Brandon comes home, in 12 days movers pack, and in 13 days we are heading west. I. CAN'T. WAIT. I have gone through all the emotions regarding this move. It was exhausting. But honestly I think the week ahead is going to be even more exhausting getting everything ready. I have one pile that goes in the car, one for the U-Haul and the great big pile that goes with the official movers. I have the dog pile and the entertainment pile and the snack pile and the essentials pile. It's nuts. So I am going to show you some fun stuff of what else has been going on....

This lovely is from Labor Day weekend
I babysat for the handsome Sawyer, pretty Lucy,
and playful Layla! The best part of this babysitting adventure was where Brittany and Andin were headed...up north to drop off several puppies for adoption there. Check out her post HERE to read all about the adventure they had!

And this past weekend I got the privilege to visit with my BESTEST friend EVER (Moose and Kenny too!) in her new home in Savannah, Georgia! We had a great time eating at Uncle Bubba's, Riding a Ghost Tour Trolley with Bob our tour guide, walking ALL over downtown, seeing AMAZING architecture, picking out salt water taffy at the Savannah Candy Kitchen, watching Dawson's Creek and reliving prom of '02 in the car. Yeah, I'd say I had a good time; thanks for having me guys!
Here's from Uncle Bubba's!
How awesome...life is good! Hope you all have a great night!

V-O-L-S, GO VOLS GO!

Today I woke up, walked outside, and realized (rather quickly) I was shivering. Before I could completely fill the water bowls for the dogs, I had to come back inside and put on long pants.
That's when it hit me. Today was the opening game day for college football. Yes, I know a few games were played earlier this week, but the important games were today. The season opener is the warm-up where big dogs win big and get pumped up for game 2 of the season. This day was also so perfect for a nice long stroll with two of the most precious puppies I've ever seen and the greatest parents anyone could ask for. We walked for an hour or more then went a ran a few errands, took a piece of furniture to Jimmie Hale, shopped a bit and it was time for work. So, since I didn't get to see any games I thought I'd recap via ESPN:

In Descending Order of importance:
Born and raised bleeding, BIG ORANGE, my first and foremost:

You may ask yourself...Why does Alabama's score even matter to a Tennessee fan? or How does the Auburn score affect you? And Texas, really, Texas? Well I would have to let you know that right now I live in the state of Alabama. This means that I work in the state of Alabama. And thus I worked on Game Day in Alabama. People are especially nice here if they now they're about to crush an opponent and stand tall as National Champs. Furthermore they are all in Tuscaloosa. I work in Birmingham; get my drift, makes for a great day at work. We get a significant amount of work. we never get to do, done on Game Day. As for Auburn, I've lived in Alabama long enough, 7 years, to know there are two teams if you are a resident of Alabama and you're not watching the Tide Roll in, you're watching the Tigers do their thing. Lastly, Texas. Well. I figure, I need to be on the up and up when I get there, we're four games in and I'm needing a deal on the cable bill with the guy in the Hook 'Em Horn's t-shirt under the DirecTv polo. So with that. I'm off to re-fill more water bowls for five of the best dogs ever. Hope your opening game day was great, and remember:
It's great, to be, a TENNESSEE VOL!!
